Custom Arduino Uno Bluetooth and Motor Driver Shield

Circuit

In this post we’ll see a small piece of hardware. This is a Custom Arduino Uno Bluetooth and Motor Driver Shield we use to be a start for motor control projects through the mobile phone.
The shield has only two components.

The first one is the famous L293D integrated circuit. It’s the HBridge motor driver widely used with Arduino. You can use it as a standalone IC or in the ready made motor driver shield.

The second component we used here is the HC-06 Bluetooth Module.

Both components make this shield suitable for many projects using motors that can be controlled by smartphone interface.

For example, phone controlled cars, boats robots or quadcopters can easily be made around this shield.
You can see this map of the shield to get an idea about it’s concept.
